Notion has been making beats since he was 16 years old on a Dell PC, using Cool Edit 2.0 and Acid Pro 4.0. Humble beginnings. Immersing himself in primarily the stems of soul music, began chopping up samples digitally and working on his technique, after being introduced to the MPC 2000 XL sampling from vinyl, and observing the fine art that is sampling, getting a true hands on experience.

Today, 20 years later, Notion’s beats have been everywhere from The Movement Fam’s projects, to multiple podcast intro’s, influencer channels on YouTube to even Gary Vee’s YouTube channel, @NotionMTB’s YouTube channel intro, to collaborating with Maestro Fresh Wes aka Canadian Hip Hop Hall of Famer, to top 10 charting artists and some of your local heroes the world over!
